Scene: Early Morning. Snup walks into kitchen dressed for work. Parents around table.
Dad: Do you have to work today?
Snup: (to snark or not to snark, that is the question) Uhm yea.
Dad: It's Good Friday.
Snup: Uh huh.
Dad: You should get the day off.
Snup: thinking: I haven't had Good Friday off since high school, unless Easter happened to be during Spring Break. I work for a secular institution. We aren't closed on Easter. Why would I get Good Friday off?
Dad: No one gets any holidays any more.
