I just finished watching Julia and Julia while baking persimmon bread. Everytime I see that movie, I'm tempted to grab a cookbook and make every single recipie in it.
Actually, there are 2 cookbooks I've made a great many recipies in. The Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Cookbook (love! love!) and the Best Muffins & Quick Breads.
I always think it would be neat to learn French cooking. However I don't have nearly enough equipment. I don't know if I could bone a duck let alone a chicken.
I was watching the movie going how can she afford to cook all that food?
Maybe I could just master the art of French deserts. ;)
I'd need the book though...
